Free training for barbers, stylists, shops, salons and schools: connect ShearQuery to Claude and use it to run your Google profile, your appointment book, and let clients book you from their own AI.

Put ShearQuery in your AI

We use Claude in the training. It takes about two minutes, and you only do it once.

  1. In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. Name it ShearQuery and paste the server address.
  3. If it asks how people sign in, choose Sign in when needed.
  4. In a chat, tap + → Connectors and make sure ShearQuery is on.
  5. Ask it something. The first time you use your own account, Claude asks you to sign in or create a free ShearQuery account.

Claude's Free plan can add one custom connector. ChatGPT needs Developer mode (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Education, on the web) — the steps are below.

Add ShearQuery to your AI Server address: https://shearquery.com/mcp CLAUDE (what we use in the training) 1. In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector. 2.     Available nowFree plan

    A full audit of their profile, their reviews, photos and posts, and changes to hours, description, categories, services, contact details and booking link. Claude drafts a change, the owner approves it in the chat, and it goes live on Google — every change can be undone, and every publish is emailed to them. Photos can be uploaded straight into the chat.

    A Google Business Profile they own, connected once on shearquery.com. For a barber or cosmetologist, only if they have their own profile — booth renters often do. Free includes reading everything, Claude drafting any change, and 3 publishes a month; Manage publishes without a limit.

  • An appointment book run from Claude

    Working hours, services and prices, booking, moving and cancelling appointments, time off, and looking up a client — by talking to Claude. Clients book from the pro's booking page and QR code with a text code, or from their own AI (Claude or ChatGPT) with a free client account. The pro can take a deposit or full payment at booking, straight to their own Stripe account, plus tips, under cancellation and refund rules they set themselves. Clients get text confirmations and a reminder the day before.

    Taking payments needs the pro's own Stripe account, connected once. Texts to clients also wait on carrier registration before they run at volume.

    A client asks their own AI — Claude or ChatGPT — for a barber or stylist (or gives it the pro's booking handle), sees open times and the pro's booking policy, and books. After that, "move it to Friday", "cancel it" or "leave a tip" is just asking. Where the pro takes a deposit, the AI hands over a secure payment link.

    A free ShearQuery client account — the AI asks them to sign in or sign up the first time they book. Only pros using the ShearQuery calendar can be booked this way.
